Rocky rocks!

Our resident geologist, Finn, totally rocks!

Educator Maddy bought her rock collection in to OSHC for our science themed day and Finn was all over it. We were able to download an app for the iPad that can identify our precious gems, with reasonable confidence, although we wonder if there aren’t couple of discrepancies! Finn was sure that she knew what some rocks were, but the app has said otherwise!

Once she had identified a bunch of rocks, Finn then labelled these photos and AirDropped them to the OSHC computer so that we could create this blog post. How very tech savvy!

Now we’re off to explore space rocks inside a cosmic planetarium!
