LEGO Technic

LW a year 6 student who frequently attends OSHC, has a keen interest in Lego. Combining Lego with electronics opens up a whole new world of possibilities which children find engaging and fascinating. I agreed to purchase a new Lego set if LW did the research and found the best possible price for the item he wanted. This opportunity enabled him to use IT for an intentional learning purpose and it helped him navigate different retail websites such as Big W, Kmart, Target, Ebay, Amazon etc. to find the item at the best price. This experience showcases our pedagogical practices of maintaining student-centered learning and that of developing child agency and autonomy by being contributors to their world and their immediate environment.
