Top-five photography tips
The following top tips are the toppest phone/tablet photography tips known to humankind and have been a key resource to photographers since the dawn of time!
FOCUS- Tap an area of interest on your screen to focus (Where you want it to look sharp).
EXPOSURE- Tap for focus and then drag the exposure slider up or down, or left or right. This will make your photo look brighter or darker- pay attention to your subject and how the light and shadows look.
Tap to FOCUS, move the EXPOSURE slider, and think about your COMPOSITION.
COMPOSE- Look for the 3X3 grid lines in camera settings to help with your composition and to keep lines level. Use the rule of thirds by placing an area of interest along one of the vertical or horizontal grid lines or where they intersect.
GET CLOSE- Zoom with you feet and forget about that digital zoom, it’s rubbish!
PERSPECTIVE- Get down low or shoot from up high, change perspective for a different, ahem, perspective..
BONUS! Simple compositions can make strong compositions. Try to avoid distractions and keep it simple!
